About

The Planser Workbook was designed for the fiction writer who’s neither plotter nor pantser but rather somewhere in between.

Within, you will find guided pages to help you identify and keep track of details such as character traits, arcs, and plotlines, along with free write pages and places to chronicle your own career goals as an author.

The idea is to create a beautiful space to brainstorm and think about roadmaps while still letting your characters lead the way. You’re not forcing a rigid plot, but you’re not pantsing it either. You’re plansing.

Fill out your Planser in any page order that feels right to you and at any point in your drafting process. Perhaps you want a rough idea of where the journey is going before you start, or maybe you’ve already written the first draft but want to make sure it hits fundamental storytelling elements as you edit.

Whatever your method, make this journal your own unique space. Color, doodle, create in the margins. Cut and paste images that inspire you. Sink into the world you’re creating.

Every Planser has space for three projects.
